Business is better served by technology, rather than serving technology.

In this Information Technology (IT)-driven business era, there is often a fine line drawn between technology being a boon or a bane to a business. Simply put, a successful business cannot be achieved without the effective integration and seamless juxtaposition of technology and business. However, with more sophisticated attacks looming ahead, the role of security in facilitating the union between businesses and technology has become more pronounced.

Whilst many enterprises in Asia are finally beginning to appreciate the key role of security in integrating technology with their businesses, they have also accepted that it is more than purchasing quality and quantity. In particular, enterprises are increasingly exposed to the tripartite concept of attaining the best fit between their business models, their technology and security needs, and their everchanging external environment. However, it has to be noted that attaining the best fit is not an end in itself, the next step is to ensure that accurate and adequate knowledge is being transferred to the enterprises in three key areas. Firstly, it is important to further educate enterprises on the role of security from a business perspective to optimize benefits. Secondly, the notion of a best fit tripartite model has to be communicated to enterprises across Asia so as to maximise their commercial gains by leveraging on technological advantages in the most secure way possible. Lastly, this event also aims to bring attention to the emerging technologies which are applicable to the business world currently.

The Secure Enterprise Summit (SES) 2008 aims to convene the best minds in Information security under one roof to create an interactive milieu for exchange of knowledge and ideas.
The top executives from the leading organizations in Asia Pacific would be part of this valuepacked event. SES 2008 would be highly valuable for Sponsors, Speakers, Media and delegates as they share knowledge and spark ideas that would shape the future.
