The Nintendo Wii, Sony PlayStation 3, and Microsoft XBOX360 are the three next gen consoles that currently make up the market share for the gaming industry. The debate is forever on going between fans of the consoles which one stands above the rest. My attempt is to put that debate to rest and offer an objective look at each console and compare them to one another in order to determine which console is the best; is it the Wii, PS3, or XBox360?
Let’s start with the XBOX360, since it was the first to arrive on the scene in 2005; the graphics were unlike anything seen before, the detail and clarity of the screen was like looking through a thin glass into another world. People lined up at gaming stores to play the console on display. Since the 360 was out almost a year longer than the PS3 and Wii, it had a lot of time to snatch up quite a bit of the market share. People who didn’t want to wait for the other consoles could satisfy themselves with a 360, which put Microsoft at at huge advantage.
XBox 360 also has the edge when it comes to exclusive games. Halo, Gears of War, Two Worlds, Star Ocean, other RPGs are only on the XBox 360 and not on PS3 or Wii. Many of the other two console owners look with envy at the sheer number of games available to owners of an XBox 360. PS3 doesn’t have games that rival the massive number of players on Halo, or the ease of use in an online interface like XBox Live.
PlayStation 3 had a pretty rocky start. Coming out around a year and a half later than XBox 360, it was already far behind in sales, mainly due to time and its $600 price tag. Few people, even those loyal to the PlayStation name, were willing to pay such an exorbitant amount for a gaming console. This hurt Sony for a while, but after a price drop, it became available to more people. PS3 has some games the XBox and Wii doesn’t have, like Uncharted, Metal Gear Solid 4, Resistance 2, and Killzone 2; all of which are great games that are fun to play.
The debate over graphics seems to never abate, but from what research I’ve done on the subject, I believe there is a general understanding that PS3 has the superior graphics over the other two consoles. XBox 360 graphics for the same game usually tend to be a bit cloudier and lower in contrast to its PS3 counterpart. Wii graphics are the worst, mainly because Nintendo doesn’t have graphics in mind.
Millions of people play bingo and millions more are keen to give it a try. Online bingo now makes it possible for almost anyone to play without leaving the comfort of your home. But if you are new to bingo or it’s been a few years since you played, you should make sure you know the rules.
Now this is not a difficult task because the rules of bingo are both few and easy. Learn the rules and then give yourself some fun – and possibly even some winnings – with a game of bingo.
In short you have a caller, a person who runs the bingo game. He or she calls out individual numbers. These numbers are selected at random by either choosing a card with a number on it or choosing a numbered ball from a box of numbered balls. It’s simply a game of chance although you must have your wits about you.
Every player must have at least one bingo card and the word BINGO must be clearly shown on the top of the card. If you want to increase your chances of winning, you can purchase more cards. Each card will have a series of numbers in columns. The aim is to draw a line between five numbers as they are announced by the caller.
There are other items a player can purchase to play bingo but the minimum is the correct bingo card and a marker to mark your bingo card if your numbers are called.
Some bingo games have variations to their rules. Sometimes the five numbers must be in a certain line or pattern or in any pattern or sometimes they must simply be the correct five numbers.
It’s important that you understand the required version of the correct numbers before you start to play each game. This is where knowing the bingo rules, the simple bingo rules, are so important. You don’t want to obtain the correct numbers only to have them in the wrong pattern. Most bingo games require the winning player to have a single line between the five winning numbers.
